    Some great stuff on that page. I especially appreciated the Half and Half ads...and the Dr. Grabow ones too...

    Interesting stuff. I'd consider getting one of them for my study, which is my man cave where I smoke, but my wife would throw a hissy fit.

    The bigger the magazine, the bigger the ad, so that stack of LIFE or LOOK magazines in the corner of the flea market barn might be worth going through.

    I love these old ads. You can't help noticing that what we currently call "room note" was important to most of the ads. Mild, cool, and the women will love it. Philip Morris saying it's the pipe tobacco you can inhale. :)

    I used to smoke that back in the early 1980's. Not too bad, as I recall.

    The only English pipe I saw was the BBB. I think they lasted into the 70s. Pretty sure I have one around here somewhere.
