Third times a charm.
I use photobucket , if that will help
That's a nice looking pipe! Good job!
As you can see the corners look like crap. This stem was beautiful upon reciept.....I was just freaked about germs and soaked it in whiskey.More work to do.....but I'm going to try a polishing wheel on my dremel tool.
Thank you....it's a Year Pipe contracted by Palm Desert Tobacco.I have $50 in it....Not sure if it's worth it but I fell in love with the squared edges and that shiny red briar. It's light in the hand and feels extremely comfortable when clenched.Haven't had the opportunity to smoke it yet......still getting over the nasty crud, day 13 today.
Thanks anyway Krusty........much obliged
I like that pipe. The red band tickles my fancy.
Mike thats initially what caught my eye. Then I got to looking at the way it was squared....next thing ya know I was bidding.......Probably would've dropped a c-note if I'd had to.
Be careful polishing with a dremel. The high speed may damage the stem.
That's a beauty! Always nice when you can breathe life into an old bird like that
I like it, too. I just bought a Sav 816 "Virginia" series poker and it's got an ivory band. I hear ya about those bands catching your eye. Savinelli makes damn fine pipes and IMO there isn't a better pipe vs $ deal out there. Good luck with it Ronbruce61!
