So I've been searching for an inexpensive pipe. As I've mentioned in another thread I often find that the inexpensive pipes have issues that I'm not qualified to deal with. So what's the solution? Buy a Grabow!

I'm looking forward to smoking it with a new blend I picked up tonight.

I have a new found respect for people who can take nice photos. Sorry about my lack of talent.

Great looking pipe. I have been after a semi-bent Grabow Freehand for a while. The only once I can ever seem to find are the ones that have more of a bend to them...

I loaded mine with a new blend for me. "Full English" from Planta Tabak out of Germany. She is smoking quite well for the first bowl.

While I am not a fan of Dr G's mainly because they are not cobs or meers, I have found that the mechanics are generally sound. Nice looking pipe. Enjoy.

I was hesitant to purchase this pipe because it was in a blister pack. Upon opening the package I was happy to find that it was drilled spot on. If only the stem were a bit thinner.

I almost exclusively smoke Dr. Grabows nowadays.

It will ASTOUND you how often this is the case once you pick one up. Then another.. and another...

In other news, I freaking love that pipe. I'm going to have to get my grubby mitts on one here soon.

A good portion (maybe 1/4) of my pipes are older Grabow based pipes, such as willards. They serve me well and are some of the nicest smoking and looking briars I have.

Never write off a product that has a good reputation simply because it is inexpensive.
