I've been a briar only smoker for many years. I never had any interest in meers until very recently and mainly because of the no flavor notes and wonder patina they can acquire over the years.

Here is the one I purchased. Won't know how it smoked until I get it in my hands :)

Congratulations! Meers are a wonderful addition to any piper's arsenal! That stem should really look killer with a patinated bowl, too!

Nice looking pipe - love that stem!....but without wishing to be a 'kill-joy', one or two similar ones of mine - that have a fairly thin chamber wall, need careful use - tobacco type, packing, smoking speed etc. as they tend to smoke a bit hot!....hope I'm wrong about this one!

I will definately heed that advice. We'll see how she burns in a few weeks. It's being shipped from Turkey says the seller.

Please excuse the quality, I'll take a better picture when I have a camera on hand. The iPad camera is horrible!

The little one came in the mail from Turkey.

Small and thin bowl but the quality is really high. The tenon is delrin and the stem is great.
