In my quest to have a 7 day set of black sandblasted pipes from Rad Davis, this group 5 Apple with Cumberland stem arrived to me yesterday. The dimensions are as follows. 6" long, bowl height of 1 7/8 bowl depth of 1 1/2 and a bowl width of 7/8. It weighed in at a paltry 44 grams which makes it extremely comfortable for clenching. I smoked a bowl of 2007 Stonehaven in it and the pipe performed brilliantly. It smoked cool and dry and I am extremely happy with this one. I have three more to go to complete the set. I am waiting on a Zulu, straight Billiard and a Rhodesian with a Spalted Tamarind cap. I actually have 5 black blasted pips from Rad but 2 are Lovats so I want the seven day set to have one of each shape. Of the two Lovats I have the one with a Spalted Tamarind will be part of the set. My first Rad ever was a black Lovat so that one will always be a special one for me. This makes my 13th Rad pipe and I have never in all my years had this many from one carver or company. I am totally addicted to his pipes as you can tell.

That looks dynamite Harris! The stem work, as always looks impressively comfortable. I don't know how Rad hits those weights, 44 grams is super light for a pipe of that overall size. Enjoy!

Gorgious pipe to say the least. I love looking at Rad Davis blasts. He seem to really know how to bring out the rings in his pipes when doing them. Enjoy that pipe, and congrats on the addition to your set.
