Had to go to JR cigars today for a bulk supply of pipe cleaners & filters. Also needed a half dozen or so of soft bites. Then I started looking at the tobacco and pick up some of this. Wanted to get more tobacco, but with the wife present i didn't want her to see what a good shopping spree cost.

Just some 2 oz blends. (Cape May) (Cherry Hill) (Barnegat)

    1. Virgin, Burley, Lat, Perique
    2. (cherry) cant get the OTC Middleton. (online only)
    3. Burley, Virgin, Creme Casing

Edit: I forgot the Perique in blend 1. That's what makes this blend good..

Exactly, i'm a learning. As i noticed he sells them in 2 oz. So i can order bi-weekly and have it fresh. Or buy bulk if it becomes an everyday smoke. But the 2oz should work until i decide what i really like.

Now i need to find some Dunhill tobacco in bulk.. I like this one..

I do both of them.. JR in Whippany is only 20 minutes from house. And a Trader Joes is nearby for the wife.
So we both took the ride out. But i dislike when she comes as i only get 10 minutes in the store.

The Paramus one has better help working in it. Whippany guys are all cigars and no love for the pipe smokers. as it's a bother when you ask them for a blend to purchase. Lazy guy cant even take the time and write the name of the blend for ya on the bag. That's why i deal with online 90% of the time now. These guys take care of ya! Sorry for the rant.. To much makers and smoke the last hour..

Yeah...My wife laughed at me when i was buying all my jars the other day.. She asked me why i needed that many. I said dear, it's for all my fly tying hooks. Need them airtight so the hooks don't rust. And maybe 3 or 4 for my tobacco blends.

Yeah it addicting.. I think finding the perfect tobacco blend one likes, is just rewarding as when actually smoking it.

I was in line once at a hardware store with a box of small mason jars and an old lady was in front of me and she asked me what I was jarring. I said pipe tobacco and she got this weird look on her face and didn't know what else to say. :xd:

Is this store near you? Maybe one day you care to sit and smoke a bowl?

I used to work about 15 minutes from there. Now it's roughly an hour and 30 minutes from me.
I'm always up for a road trip.

Roscoe has some great trout fishing. I am familiar with the area alhtough, i'ts not near me, it's also probably an hour and a half to hour 45 minutes. My father lives out that way, in Rock Hill and my sister lived in Liberty

Yeah. I'm going for a few days for exactly that( trout fishing ). Thought i would see if you wanted to meet up since i'll be up that way with a bunch of friends fishing.

But maybe Paramus JR would workout better when your in the area.
