It raises a lot of mixed feelings, doesn't it? :punk:
I just stood there, completely speechless, looking at it for a very long time, not knowing what to think. It has challenged a lot of my conceptions about what a pipe should look like.
But, then I started to like it.
I do not know about you guys, though, but I like it.

What tunes can you play on it?

Seriously that's a nice bridge and a crazy stem - looks like a lot of work.

I like it. Looks like you could hook your finger on to it and have a quite comfortable smoke. I'd probably look at that stem a lot trying to figure out how it was made. Congrats.

I disagree. I've been planning a pipe like that for months now although I haven't started. And I got the idea from one that I saw. :)

Nothing to show, it's all in my head! LOL In fact to be honest I thought it was an original idea (yeah right) then found one. :haha:

I've seen a bowl carved like that before online, but your stem is definitely unique. If I were to design a sibling for your pipe, I'd either keep the stem and add a light yellow stain to the bowl, or I'd get a darker orange stripe to put into the stem. Really nice!

I'm not much of a freehand fan .. however .. OMG , that pipe rocks !! Wonderful freakin pipe !! Fill it with Golden Extra and Enjoy ! Bridges were very popular . Back in the day , Randy Wiley made some stunners as did Edwards pipe shop and many other makers when the " organic " shapes were the thing . I'm not saying it's dated by any means .. just mean it was a popular thing to do and I'm glad to see it ! Honestly , man .. it's awesome !

That is interesting to know. I was not aware there was a tendance with such a shape some time ago. I have seen Morel père pipes with such a ring, but it was under the shank...

That pipe should have come with it's own tripod attached.
It's crazy nice. The person who made it has some definite artistic skill. Congratulations.

With the bumble bee stem? Lee von Erck did a piece of briar to have that sort of a bridge like that. It is the bumble bee stem that makes it so highly unusual.
