Got this in the mail today (the other half of my Xmas present)
Pete 305L system pipe, it's my first system pipe so I'm really looking forward to this.

Feels great to clench regardless of its size.
I really like this pipe, so it's earned it's spot in the middle of my Pete pipe rack.

Thank you, the pics (cell phone quality) really don't give the pipe the recognition it deserves, the grain is absolutely beautiful on this pipe.

Thank you, I'm thinking I may need to replace that meer with a bigger Pete to match the 305 and the 999.

I just smoked my first bowl in it (well 1/3 of a bowl... Dang breaking in briar! Lol) it smokes like a dream, I am shocked at how cool it smokes due to the system. I am very much looking forward to many pleasant smokes in this pipe, and I won't be at all surprised if I end up with several more system pipes in my collection.
I was smoking H&H anniversary kake.

Need to get a few more meers before I get a rack for them. Only have 2 meers right now, I have an altinok (with the globe of the world carved into it) on my PAD.
A local B&M here sells a nice pipe rack that holds 24 pipes, I'm planning on getting that once my apartment is set up and having my pipes on display on a bookshelf, the Pete rack will go in my office with my fav Pete's on it.

Outstanding looking Pete. The grain is awesome and it looks like it will hang effortlessly and be extremely comfortable to smoke. Congrats on your new pipe, I hope it becomes a favorite for you.

    Nice Peterson. Congrats.

Is the Altinok the one with the blue stem? I keep looking at that one.

Very nice! I've always liked the 305 shape.

What's the Pete on the left of the rack?

How did I miss this thread? I guess the board is so active, threads don't stay on the first page long.

Really beautiful pipe there, Aussie, that grain is fabulous! Anni Kake is a great choice for breaking her in too. Congrats and happy smoking. :toast:
