OK I give up on trying to post a pic of my new BST so appologies to Sas for pirating his. I took some really nice pics of it resting on a nice tamper (not the time traveling kind) along with a plethora (ooh big word) of tobaccos. I took 3 different views! THEN...... tried to load it through Imgur and Photobucket and even the "upload a file" here. No dice. I know, pics or it didnt happen. Well it did happen and it is a wonderful work of art. Feels perfect in the hand and smokes like a gem even on the very first bowl. First stoke was with some Carter Hall as I figure out what tobacco to dedicate it to. ( I switch between aros and non-aros according to mood ) It was an unusually warm 56 degrees here on Wednesday afternoon in N.E. Penna so I got to partake on my porch after work. This could easily become my favorite smoker. It is also the first time I have smoked CH in anything but a cob and must say that cob/CH relationship is still something special, but this was oh so good. Smoked right down to the end of the bowl with only 2 relights. I read a lot of great reviews here about Sas's pipes and they are all 100% dead on as far as quality and workmanship go. The proof is in the pudding as they say and a pipe can be ugly and smoke great or be a beauty and smoke terrible, this one is not only beautiful but smokes fantastic. Anyone thinking of getting a Sas pipe, I can offer only this, DO IT!!!!
