    Have to agree...I have a Hackert Freehand (w/metal ferrule) and a General with a briar/antler stem. Both are excellent smokers. The freehands make for an awesome flake pipe, in my not so humble opinion.

    Thought about starting a bragging topic, but since it was this thread that got me wanting one, figured I'd just add on to it.

    I contacted Mr. H and asked him for something smaller than the freehand with an antler shank.
    This is what he created.

    Very nice pipe! Congrats on the new addition, I agree, Mr. Hackert is a great guy to do business with, very simple transaction. I will be ordering another one very soon! :thumb:
