    Hi.

I've just got back from a holiday in Cornwall. I bought this nice Parker pipe from a tobacconist in Helston. It was £22. I also got some Robert McConnell Scottish Flake, Rattray's Old Gowrie, Rattray's 7 Reserve, and Rattray's Bagpiper's Dream.

Thats a beauty, nice rings in the blast. Always like those square shanked billiards.

That is a very nice Parker. I'm yet to own a Parker. Is it vintage?

I love Parkers. I have two that have the same red and black sandblast finish as yours. For the price they are amazing. For twice the cost of what they are they are still very well priced. Sometimes the finish can be a little sloppy, but I can forgive that in a £22 pipe. My B&M in Hastings has a panel just like yours (slightly better blast on yours). I keep eyeing it up every time I'm in there. May have to take the plunge some time soon.

The more I look at that picture the more I like the fact that this pipe is a panel. That panel style REALLY shows of the ring grain--SUPER WELL. At the lower part of the bowl I also like the way it flows from bowl to square stem as the grain blends, and flows nicely out onto the stem. Fella---you scored an absolutely freakin stunning pipe. OH--did I tell yah yet that I REALLY--REALLY like that pipe. If you need someone to volunteer to break it in for you----I will gladly help. :byg:---Anywho--I am serious about really liking that pipe. It is just simply drop dead gorgious.

    Thanks for the comments. :)

    It's new, not vintage.

If I ever decide to move it on I'll let you know. Probably not that likely though. I like it a lot myself. :)
