Basically, I just wanted to introduce myself to you all, so here it goes!

My name is Gianni, I live southshore of Montreal, Canada. I started smoking cigars long ago, but recently added pipe smoking to my arsenal. I like the etiquette and ceremony of smoking, and so pipe smoking adds nicely to my tastes.

I hate smoking flavored cigars, and do not own any of them, but I kinda like flavored (lightly) tobaccos, maybe because I can dose the quantity, and blend if necessary. I own 3 great pipes from Blatter and Blatter, from Montreal. The guys there are awsome, and make quality pipes and very decent prices. I kinda always do business with Patrick, who introduced me to pipe smoking, and is always very nice and patient every time I pay them a visit.

I am pretty good with woodworking, so I will eventually try my hand at pipe restorations. I have build my cigar cabinet, and feel I have to read a little before I try my hand at restoring a pipe.
So there it goes, hope to be a frequent visitor and contributor here...

    Gianni

    Hi Gianni,
Great here isn't it? I've only joined recently, and everyone has made me feel welcome. Thanks, guys!!:thumbsu:

It's great to almost be with people of common interests to share ideas with and benefit from people's experiences.

Like I've said on another thread, happy smoking, whatever you have and enjoy in your pipe.

    Take care,

    Stew
