    Very nice looking pipe you got... I never had a Savinelli, but after reading your post, I went looking on the bay and bidding on a Savinelli Alligator. Let us know how it preforms........

    My mom bought it, funny though, she usually smokes cobs with her spinster sister on the back porch and not briars...

    I have a couple Savinellis....oops...up to three now. All are great smokers. Big bowls on 'em for a nice long, mellow smoke. Have a big Stanwell in that same style which also smokes well. Enjoy and Merry Christmas.
