Well I got this Davidoff the other day off a discount shelf from my local shop. It has a bunch of other stamps all over the shank from who knows what, but smokes pretty well. Gonna try to get a 9mm to non-filter adapter, though. Only problem is there is a tiny, tiny hairline crack in on the bottom of the shank starting at the band and going toward the bowl about one centimeter. I hope it doesn't get worse, so if anyone has any ideas on how to preserve it, let me know. Other than letting it cool before taking it apart and not wrenching on the stem, I'm not sure what to do. Love the pipe, though.

Nice looking pipe. Looks like it would be a good clencher.

Nice. I would think you could have someone put a wider band on it to stabilize the crack if you wanted to.

Maybe... I'll have to decide of a 25 dollar pipe is worth that haha. I think the crack is fine...

A $25 Dr. Grabow? Maybe not. A $25 Davidoff? Oh yeah!

most would say, send to the pro's for a good fix, but me, jus my opinion, fill if you can with, heat resistant, sand able, and stain able epoxy glue and if you want excellent repair, throw a little briar dust on it...

Well it's a gonner.. It's a nice looking pipe but, might as well send it to me and I can put it with the pipes 'forever lost' pile.. ;)

or, you could do what's been stated already...the other guys have provided some good ideas too. :)
