a no name "made in England". Someone was nice enough to paint a knockoff white dot of the stem. I was able to chip it off with my thumb nail.

Peterson system 312. Looks like it was only smoked once or twice. Minor oxidation cleaned up with no effort.

I managed to score these for just over $50 for the pair.

The best part? When the wife asked "is this like the problem I have with buying shoes?" "yes dear it is!":thu2:

Very nice score! What, you didn't leave the dot on?! I bet it's that last of the legendary Dunhill DR's that were actually made with dead root! You screwed up man, you screwed up! :D But really, I can't believe how cheap you got that Peterson for. That's a really nice deal, especially since those are $100-$120 brand new for the Standard System. Paying less than half price for one that was only smoked a couple times? :thu2: Very nice!

Mind you that was $50 for both. The Pete was something like $36 + shipping. Don't think i could pull that magic off again.
