Yeah, I don't love the pictures on the back with dead people and hospitalized babies and so on, quite silly really.

Anyways, I think I'm going to try the Dunhill first. :puffy:

I tried the Dunhill My Mixture 965 and I thought it was lovely, smoked great all the way down.

Nice haul! Especially the Squadron Leader!

We had a period some time back when everyone on the forum was tasting SL, and I think the general opinion was to try this blend in a newly cleaned pipe... the better to taste the orientals.

Smoking SL in a pipe which has a heavy latakia or perique ghost may dilute the subtle yet complex flavors of SL :bing:

Tried Irish Oak an loved it, Mac Baren Navy Flake was nice and sweet, liked OGS too.

Today I'm going to try Full Virginia Flake and Squadron Leader. I cleaned a pipe yesterday and let it breathe until tonight for Squadron Leader, following the tip from Dondi.

Oooooh... Lemme know if you want to part with a pinch of the irish oak. Been wanting to try that for a while now.

Also the 965 is on my hitlist! :D

Tried Squadron Leader earlier, and really liked it, trying Full Virginia Flake right now and I'm absolutely loving it, it seems like I picked the right tobaccos to buy. :thumbsu:

All of those are great blends. You are going to have a great time with them. SL and OGS are my favorites.

I'm horrible at describing tastes and reviewing tobaccos, all I can say is that I really loved Irish Oak, and thought it had a nice grassy(?) taste to it.
