I decided awhile back that my next pipe would be a mark tinsky. Today I went to the Fort Wayne pipe show with 45 bucks and two old kaywoodie super grains. Smokers haven from Columbus (who I highly recommend doing business with) had a few brand new tinskys 50% off. Awesome deal! The one I've had my eye on for months was there with a $185 price tag. I sold the kaywoodies to the "pipedude" for $50. Now I have just enough in my pocket to secure my tinsky coral pipe! Is it fate? I think so. I walked in with $45 and two kaywoodies and walk out with a beautiful new tinsky. It was a good day. The show was very cool too. As I understand it is one of the few pipe shows that you can still smoke at. I'll try to post a pic later.

Yes, lovely shape, one of my favorites.
The Piperack has quite a few Tinsky's for sale.
    Enjoy, Rolf.

Very nice CR! Congratz! Mark' Coral rustication and superb quality build and ingredients make getting/owning a Tinsky a definite "no brainer". Only problem with owning a Tinsky is "I must have MORE". I've been going stron on the 2010 Christmas Pipes lately, prior to that was the 2009 Christmas Pipes and before that was the PSF/POY pipes with a smattering of some of Mark's truly amazing creations in betweenn here and there. All bought direct except for a used 1996 Christmas Pipe (ebay). I feel that I must say that his pipes of today are the best. The '96 smokes great and better than most any other briar I own but the more current production pipes from Mark just KILLZ! Sorry for the slight derail but MT does indeed make a superfine pipe!

Congratz again on your new Tinsky and I know you're gonna enjoy that new Tinsky!

    Hi All,

A seriously good looking pipe and I have never heard anyone say anything against their smoking qualities. Obviously you were fated to get the pipe. Many happy years with the beauty and well done!

That's a pretty Tinsky. Of course, There aren't many that are NOT pretty. :)

I can't wait to have the PAD budget to pick up one of the Christmas 2010 pipes... those things are gorgeous! My PSF POY 2010 is still one of my favorite smokers.

I have a Tinsky Christmas pipe from 1996 (maybe 1997) that is that bent apple shape, although I would guess the Christmas pipe is bigger. (In fact, it is quite large.) Mine is a good smoker, and feels great in the hand. Yours will too.

    Very nice.
