First, I'm sorry for not being on the site much the last month. Besides traveling a lot for work, and building a house, my dad has been admitted to a hospital, which looks like may be for liver cancer. I have thought about you guys and popped in for a few minutes to read here and there.

Anway, it's rainy & slow today, so I thought I would browse the 4noggins website. I haven't ever purchased from them. I ended up putting in an order for:

Dan- Hamborger Veermaster, 50g (yes, I know I have 5 tins already, but they have it for a super price!)
Gawith Hoggarth- Bob's Chocolate Flake, 50g
Solani- Aged Burley Flake, 2x50g (for a tot of 4 in the cellar)
4noggins- Bald Headed Teacher, 4oz bulk (I've been wanting to try it for a long time)
Peter Stokkebye- Luxury Twist Flake, 4 oz bulk (Another I've been looking at for a long time)
Cornell & Diehl- Nutty Irish, 2oz bulk (who knows? it sounded good)

I'm excited about trying some of these. :eek:hyeah:

I'll keep your dad in my thoughts, Brad. Glad you had a free moment to check in. Sounds like you've got some good tobacco on the way.

Thank you for the well wishes.

I agree with the yumness comment. The more I smoke it the more crazy I am for it. It's slowly starting to edge out my #3 & 4 all time favorites. One and two are probably safe for nostalgia reasons at least.

    Thanks!

We ran some errands and came back to a little white box on the front porch. Bald Headed teacher smells real nice. Nutty Irishman smells like you could eat it. PS Lux Navy Flake smells nice too. Which one to try... ?

I'm not going to open the Bob's chocolate flake until Christmas.

I did just that and it ended up being Nutty Irishman. It was nice. Not great, but nice. I'll have to see if a second bowl changes any. I've noticed a second or third bowl of a new aromatic sometimes makes a better impression than the first. It was like that for Sweet Vanilla Honeydew and a couple of other recent acquisitions.
