I'm going back there right now and sit on that toilet seat and enjoy that new Stanwell Horn shape 145 with some Beauregard (Bayou Tobacco blend) and cut that overhead fan on. Too damn rainy, wet and cold outside to enjoy there.
Smoking in the house would bring a minimum of butcher knives and a mountain of hate-spewed oral venom. I'll keep my Model 15 Smith handy in case they try knocking down the door. The anti-smoking Nazis got in their head long ago. Wifee still goes out on the patio and smokes her cigs. Kids these days...........
Do y'all have anti-smokers living with you?

Annie Kake in the Nording. I'm finding I like it less and less when I smoke it.

Currently smoking London Mixture in a Dunhill shell grp 5 square panel. Classic combination, and I love the stuff. Only have three more unopened tins though.

Change of plans. I decided to make my new MdP ball an aromatic pipe. WOLOF to break it in. Smokes nice and cool. Gonna ream out my Peterson Aran 53 and make it an Oriental pipe.

Melange in the churchwarden. Still not sure if I like it but will finish the tin to make sure it's not just me. Haven't eliminated all the variables yet.

I have a small bent Big Ben with a ball shaped bowl that handles aromatics extremely well. So that seems like a good idea, Ogle. You can't go wrong with a MdP, I think, no matter what you put in it.

Thanks. I think the Pete I was smoking the aromatics out of was too small/thin/short, and the syrupy nature of the tobacco was causing it to burn on the hot side, no matter what I smoked (WOLOF, Dan BN, MacB VC, etc). The WOLOF in the MdP was a night and day change. There was no bite, no burn, not even any heat from the stem as I pulled on it. The smoke was so cool. Never really experienced anything like it really. A great pipe!
