FINALLY! I get a break to post! Smoked a bowl of Autumn Evening in a Kaywoodie White Briar on the way in to work this morning. This pipe smokes way better than I thought it would, I've never heard anything good about the stinger end but I find that it's got a good draw and smokes well. It does smoke wet but it does not gurgle so, eh, I likes it! ;)

Yeah, but this one's PURPLE! :)

I'm slowly coming over to the Falcon smoker side but it does have its limitations. Good smoker, different sort of maintenance, easier in some respects. Gotta be a JB Longs pipe cleaner or skinnier to get down the Falcon smoke lumen.

    Today's smokes so far

ET Pembroke in a Brebbia Twin Amaranth w/CW stem addition, hot java

WO Larsen 2012 in a Paykoc mini meer calabash, mo-java

Villiger 1888 After Dinner in a PSF 2011 POTY, mo-java

ET Penzance in the Purple Falcon, coke zero

It's actually not a very common or popular shape, don't recall the name but it's narrow towards the middle of the bowl and flares out at the top and bottom...sort of like the MM spool but the edges at the top and bottom are crisp and not rounded like the spool.

Small bowls for sure! Good smoke though! :)

If ya want a Purple Falcon, i know who has a few more, new. Reasonable price! At least for an OOP Falcon "Rainbow" (yellow, blue, green, purple, ?other colors?).

Sounds like the (now no longer being made) Snifter bowl. It's one of the ones that I have for my black stemmed Falcon.
