BBF in a basket freehand.
An experiment... threw an Escudo into an Istanbul Falcon. It's going great! I should probably do the same with the rest of my Escudos.
Storm Front in a Peterson Donegal Rocky 6
three more bowls of MacBaren's Vanilla Cream in my Clay Doggie. Dwaugh really is a genius
Last night, with my cold in full gear, I smoked Ten Russians which is usually very strong (which I like) but since my taste buds and sense of smell were\are shot, it was like smoking a light version of it. The taste still came thru but was not strong at all.
Tonight, with my cold still kicking my arse, i am about to fire up some IF in my Dunhill Briar Shell. Another strong one. I am afraid if I try a mild tobacco, it will be like smoking air. lol
Rooibos tea on the side (I should put some whiskey in it and still might)
Such a nice night, decided to smoke another. PS Balkan Supreme in a Digby bulldog
Kendal Dark in a Baki. Three days, one pipe. She's still going strong, but i'm starting to wonder how in the hay codgers were contented with just one pipe. I think monogomy just ain't in my DNA. (Here's hoping my wife ain't reading over my shoulder).
Well it's pretty warm out still, and I've had such a good time mostly smoking English type blends today that I figured I owed it to myself to smoke another bowl (at least) before bed tonight. So I broke out the GL Pease Odyssey, which rarely gets smoked around here. So heavy on the latakia, not really my thing most of the time...but it IS a good blend, and I gotta say I'm enjoying it so far! Also, in preparing the tobacco I came across three chunky, flaky bits of reeeeeally sugary looking VA. For as much latakia as they put in this blend, it's still nice and sweet.
Second bowl of the day in the Trevi billiard. Flathead Lake Huckleberry soda on the side
CH in a drgrabow special.
Mac Baren Mixture Modern in a Vauen Sir rusticated
Sutliff Private Stock - R Blend in the Kapet 68. It's okay, but I think all the smoking earlier today has taxed my palate about to it's limit. Despite smoking it very gently, it's biting just a bit. I'll need to give it a few more smokes before I make up my mind, but this isn't a likely contender to become a favorite. Man's Best Friend, on the other hand...
I really ought to be in bed...got to get up and get to work early tomorrow. Oh well, I'll just finish this bowl of Scottish Cake in my Dr. Bob.
Smoking some Orlik Golden Sliced in my lil red Neerup.
Classic Samsun, meer.
GLP JKP in my Ben Wade Martinique freehand.
Orlik Golden sliced in my GBD Bulldog. As Kenny Powers would say...
Peterson Irish flake in a demuth gold dot
SWRA in my DrG. Omega...
PS LBF in a Grabow viscount
Rajah Court on a bed of Nightwatch in a St. Pat 69. While testing out the smoke eater. Let's see what my wife says when she gets home...
