Frog Morton in an MM cob. Got discouraged after ten minutes, as the tobac stopped taking a light. Then I realized, I'd smoked over two-thirds of the tobacco. This cob has a rather small chamber.

Rattray's 7 Reserve in an Ardor squat bulldog this morning, with some hot tea. Wanted something on the light side, and this fills the bill.

Got a sample of Grouse Moor in the mail today from another one of my PSF tobacco fairies :XD:

SG Grouse Moor in a Cavicchi bent pot. I know there are ghosting concerns with this "lakeland" stuff, but oh well.

The stuff is surprisingly light. I was expecting (based upon what I read) that I was going to get hit in the mouth with an atomized cloud of grandma's perfume, but it's perfectly subtle.

EDIT: OH! And lit with my new Xikar pipeline. It's a sweet lighter, for sure.

    Gabe,

In case you're wondering, the Grousemoor is much lighter than the rumors. In other words, it probably didn't lose anything during shipping. It was lighter than I thought it would be when I first popped the unopened tin. Some of the reviews lead you to believe that it's so heavily perfumed and soapy that your pipe will be garbage after you smoke Grousemoor - but that is very far from the truth.

Delicious stuff though. Sad that my 50g tin is quickly running out.

It's pretty cool that the tin was given to me by a generous PSF member, and I then passed some of it on to another great PSF member. :)

Glad you dig it. I hope we get more of this in the USA ASAP!

Russ Ouellette's Armada in the first pipe I made. It's funky (the pipe not the tobacco) but it smokes pretty well.

Irish Flake in a Peterson Killarney. I'm still not warming up to this tobacco, though. I don't *dislike* it, but I'm not that fond of it either. :(
