I started the day off with some OGS in the Sterling Canadian. Now I'm finishing off a bowl of Sterling Bargain in a Kaywoodie Canadian.

Mixture of North Star and St. Bruno mixed half and half to stop it burning too fast, out on the deck with my feet up on the rail watching the fishing boats in the stiff breeze. Spring sun's out daffodils are in bloom and the mixture tasted superb in my Falcon with rustic Plymouth bowl - life's pretty good aint it just?

Hope all's as well with you all,

    Gerry

Decided to knock down the number of open jars I have laying around (and looking forward to cracking a few new tins...what a vicious circle)...

    So far this morning...

Sterling Bargain in my Falcon...McC Red Cake in my Kirsten, more Bargain in the Falcon, King Charles in my Stannie, and now McC 5105 in the Kirsten, all with black coffee...btw, is your heart supposed to beat at 200+ a minute?

Unhappy because my sense of taste is all but gone. I can get hits of aromatics and strong latakias, but nothing else.

SRW in a grabow grand duke (no taste)
SG Commonwealth in a MM Legend (mmm good)
SRW again in grabow grand duke (...no taste again)
Ol' Times Montego Bay in grabow duke again after a good claening (mmm good)

This SRW might end up on a trade for some CH! Or in a couple rider-alongs on a trade.

4 bowls in 4 hours. Whew...

    PA in my Falcon.

If this is a race, Wataru, I'm winning...6 bowls and it's not even noon.
(I can sympathize with the phantom tastebuds, too...darnit.)

I'm enjoying a mid-day smoke of #5100 in a MM Pride cob, there's nothing like a natural Virginia in an all natural cob!

More of the PA/CH/Cherry blend in a Yello Bole Imperial with a Vanilla Coke on the side. It's a nice way to wake up from a nap.

Some CBW in a Dover Oval earlier while listening to This American Life. Now that's finished, I moved on to some OGS in a Yello Bole Imperial.
