103 with sixty percent humidity here today and the only thing i could get to burn without bite was mcconnell scottish flake (basically thinner sliced FVF, damn near identical tobacco) in a really thick sided apple bowl. that was great. everything else was tasting of ash and tin and torching my tongue. better luck tomorrow.

GL Pease Cairo (freshly cracked) in my BBB tortoiseshell billiard, which according to Professor Dondi is my "oriental" pipe not my "turkish" or "light english". sure am glad he told me that, it tastes better now :thumbsu:

seriously though dondi, thanks for clarifying, i was confused as a kitten in a yarn factory.

and as much as i like it, this blend is best savored when the humidity is below 40% (its a bit bitey tonight) which is a shame cause it has the perfect flavor balance for a summer day smoke.

Waking up with some PA in a Kaywoodie 29 billiard. A pipe seems even that much more enjoyable in the moring.
