Yes, as well as I could. I took a pipe cleaner and dipped it in the alchohol, then ran it through the stem with a back and forth scrubbing action, a couple times. I then ran a dry pipe cleaner through it and left it to dry.

If there's still a hint, there will likely continue to be a hint. You might consider another round; try bristle pipe cleaners for the deep cleaning.

G.L Pease Union Square from a cob...

You heard right...My tobacco order came in this afternoon. I just opened up the tin, and will be loading and smoking my first bowl in mere moments. Will be posting in the 2m2t thread when it finishes.

I wasn't expecting my order to come in for at least a few more days, so it was a nice surprise.

How do you like Sunday Picnic, 'splash? I have some tins in the cellar, but haven't opened any yet.

Samuel Gawith Sams Flake in a cob.

THis is actually my second bowl of this stuff already, and I really like it.

First bowl was a rubbed out bowl, partly because of the problems I had with the US folded and stuffed, and partly because I chose as my first bowl a flake that mostly broken appart I assume from the shipping. So I just finished rubbing it out and filled my pipe. It smoked very well, stayed lit, and smoked all the way to the bottom, leaving nothing but dry ashes to dump. The second bowl I folded and stuffed, had a hard time getting it lit, but part way through, it kept a light. When I hit the bottom of the bowl it started to sizzle. I don't know if the shank was still moist from a bowl I smoked earlier today, or if the fill method had caused the Sams Flake to burn a lttle wet. Either way, this stuff is tasty. More like US than the Buteras flake I had last month, only much stronger in the flavor department. I really like this stuff, and look forward to trying my next bowl of US later.

Union Square in a Bannard Hunky Oom Paul. The deeper it gets down the bowl, the sweeter and tastier it gets. Just like Ava G.
