Smoked some Capt Earle Private Stock, first in a Tinsky then in a Falcon.

Described as a blend of eight select tobaccos highlighted by rich Latakia and deep red Va. Stoved and pressed into a Crumble Cake, Private Stock is the perfect all day smoke for connoisseurs of rich and complex English blends.

In a briar pipe, it was kinda disappointing, not that rich and complex... more like a light-bodied English. It tasted better in the Falcon though! So I guess this is one blend that will in future be dedicated to being smoked in the Falcon :bing:

A bowl of Balkan Flake in a Pete followed by a bowl of Smyrna No. 1 in the Squatch billiard while polishing off a growler of Berkshire Brewing Co.'s Drayman's Porter. Good stuff all around.
