C&D Blockade runner in my newly bought first ever corn cob. I am very impressed by the cob. It is very light, easy to clench, smokes clean, cool, dry and has an easy draw. Not bad for a $7 pipe. :thumbsu:

This AM, in the Phila cold, I am smoking C&D Burley flake #1 in a Peterson Shamrock X951 (the basic billiard, sort-of), and reheated breakfast coffee. The end of my sick-leave, so I am also more-or-less working from home, where the smoking lamp is perpetually aflame.

    Good morning all.

We had an ice storm yesterday. There's only about 1/10 to 2/10 inches, but the St. Louis Blues could use my circle drive for a practice rink. Supposed to warm into the low 30's this afternoon. Hope so...we're supposed to cook for the bingo crowd tonight. Right now it's 29F out there.

In celebration of this *wonderful* weather, I'm starting the morning with Boswells' Christmas Cookie and a large mug of Ginseng tea.

Staying snug and warm in the Bear's Den.

The last bowl of MOB 3005 in the tin on the noon walk with the dog. It was pretty dry, but that was probably a good thing in the strong wind and loads of wet snow. Good latakia that.

Just came in from evening dog walk which was accompanied by C&D - After hours in the second corn cob I bought today. It is still a blizzard so I did not get the best of this blend I'm sure. Never tried it before and it came straight from the tin. I am surprised it burnt to ashes with only a few relights and when I could get away from the elements I could taste the rum so it is a promising blend.

Boswell's Christmas Cookie in a Firex straight billiard, lousy 7-11 hot black coffee along side. At least the tobacco is good.

Eh, it wasn't what I thought...not nicotine, but a massive eye/headache...it just hit me hard.

SL in a Kaywoodie Apple...I gotta say, this is a great clencher...
Guess I should hunt down some more of them.

Esoterica Margate in my MM Pride Cob.. Put a very thin coat of no sulfur molasses at the bottom to keep from burning out the pipe which is a natural.. It really tasted good.. :thumbsu:
