Just finished a bowl of McClelland Rich Virginia in my Savinelli Porto Cervo 404. I'm really loving the zulu shape!

After some of the rich aros I indulged in over the holiday, it's good to get back to basics. I'm smoking some PA in a Brewster billiard, Hawaiian Punch on the side while catching up on what I missed here over the last few days.

Peterson's Holiday 2010 (Thanks, Rugs) in
a Sav 316KS. Just a bowl before work
last night. Should have dried it out a
bit. Wet, wet, wet out of the tin!

Peterson Irish Whiskey. Taste like burley with a hint of something - not whiskey though. Not bad, but not as good as the Golden Extra.
Let it dry in my dish for about 10 minutes, the tin was opened about 2 months ago.
Swabbed once, re-lit about 4 times.

Peterson Sherlock Holmes Squire (rustic) I think an older one, no fancy P. This nice, bent bulldog has some heft.

    Agua on the side.

Watchin the snow, and the fire burn down before bed.

GLP Westminster in a Dunhill ODA 835, Fundador Solera brandy on the side. Cheap drink but it's a filipino favorite, not bad IMO.

Early Morning Pipe. Taste like a lite burly, I guess that would be a Va. Lots of flavor with no ill effects, that is special considering I smoked it in my blow torch pipe. Towards the end, I started to notice a spice and peppermint flavor. I can see this toby-pipe combo becoming a morning ritual, when time permits.

Just opened the tin and let it sit in the dish for a few minutes while pouring some Maxwell House. Almost made it to the end without swabbing, a tribute to the toby considering the pipe, re-lit about 5 times, but I was distracted.

Bulldog pipe, 5 bucks from the NJ pipe show. Marked "VIRGIN DE LUXE" "MADE IN ENGLAND" re-furbed by yours truly.

    Maxwell House on the side.

Had a hearty breakfast, headin out shovel some white stuff.

MODERATOR - Is this too wordy for this section ?.. I notice the entries are short, but I was planning to use this section as my tobacco and pipe logbook.

Write what you like, Len. Some guys just put the pipe/toby combo and leave it at that, other guys write what socks they are wearing. It's all good.

Plain white socks (these are my go to socks).

PPP (thank you, Andrew!)in a Falcon. Not gonna best Irish Flake, but it has its' own charms, being a plug. I never thought anything special about rope tobacco, but these dense little squares are just too cool. Can't wait for Pease's plug now...

    (Not wearing socks, sorry.)

GAF in a Stanwell ringblasted bent dublin. Last indoor pipe before the wife gets here.

Wearing socks now (No shows...mistake!)...had to go re-shovel wind drifted snow off where my wife parks. My fits is cold.
