C&D Burley Flake #3 in a new RM Davison that arrived today. Think this will be a flake pipe after a few bowls of burley to start the cake. Bob makes a nice pipe at very affordable prices.

Some Orlik Luxury in a Falcon. Thermal
woolen socks donned for the below
freezing temps out right now. Just
    bought Eric Johnson "Bloom", and
am starting it now. Very cool. He
    rocks the socks!

Bagpipers dream in my brand new, first ever meer that came from Altinok this afternoon, as seen here
That was a new experience. The smoke was not cool - it was cold. There was a tiniest hint of wax in the taste but I felt like a pascha, enjoying every minute of my time in the - 8 C. This will be a pleasurable aquaintence.

Glad you enjoyed it. After seeing your thread again today I'm thinking of making an Altinok meer my next pipe.

FM: OTT in a Peterson #53 (lovat). It's a cold day so some Town Froggy takes away the chill.

Long day at the office. Only had time for one pipe which was Boswell's Pennsy Dutch Treat in a Grabow Lark.

    Thank you kindly. :)
It performed well I think. It stayed lit and smoked dry. It is much lighter than I would have thought so it can be clenched for a while without any problem. The taste is pretty much the same, but somehow a little more of it. One thing I distinctly noticed was that even the taste of the smoke from the lightup tasted good, which I normally find pretty foul.

There is bound to be some model that is to your liking and communication with Sinan Altinok has been flawless and pleasant all the way.

Even the rain couldn't keep me from having a couple bowls today. Had some McClelland Samovar in a basket pipe and a bowl of Escudo in my Savinelli Spring bulldog. It was my first bowl of Escudo, and definitely not my last!

Peterson Sunset Breeze in a Pete 312 (never thought to smoke Peterson tobacco in a Pete but it's pretty good-go figure).

Nice looking pipe. My first pipe was an estate pete bulldog, I bought it not for style but for price, it was a not smoked for $40. Now for some reason I really like the shape, especially diamond shanks.
