What a coincidence. Monday nights are pool league for me, and I live in Michigan as well. ;) Also, more to the point, I had a blah night...5 wins, 4 losses and 6 scratches. Cost me $2.50. Couldn't make a bank to save my life--just wasn't seeing them, I guess. Still, it's a fun time, like you said.

ObTopic: Sorry, at work; no pipe smoking here. I'm thinking of leaving early, though...this virus I picked up (thanks to my wife and youngest son) is a killer. :\

Ugh, sick of snow already. Heading out with a Hackert MM General full of Sugar Barrel. A mug of coffee to help keep my hands warm.

Straight pool is my favorite, for sure. Got a quick story while I'm smokin' this big Savinelli 4Dot bulldog full of PA.

When I was in college my father was stationed at Mt. Home AFB, Idaho. Willie Mosconi came to Boise on a tour for Brunswick and the modus operandi was to play the local hot stick a game to 125, then do his trick shot/tips show. I had taken a airman friend to see Mosconi in action, said friend not being a pool player at all.

Mosconi won the lag, called the back corner ball off the rail into right corner pocket and proceeded to run 75 balls in about 5 minutes flat. My eyes were bugging out of my head and my jaw was on the floor. Wow. My friend says, "So what's the big deal? He didn't shoot any hard shots at all!" :roflmao:

Wow! I gotta share this one with ya

MacB Club Blend small "c-ball" towards the bottom of a Jake Hackert Freehand with a "stack" of CB coins (loaded one by one) atop the little "c-ball" to fill the bowl to just below the brim! What a smoke! Nice flavors! Intense and tastee! Never tried stackin' coins like this but this is yet another trick in Puff's Bag O'Tricks now...........awesome way to enjoy these little coins o'gold!

In my new Mario Grandi: 1 part PA, 1 Part 1-Q, and a pinch of MB Honey & Chocolate. Good enough that it's going to be mixed up in a larger batch.....
