    Nice freehand! :thumb:

As I finish up this cob full of LTF, I'm reminded of when I lived in England, in the 50s. They still used coal to heat their homes; now THAT was some fog! Literally could not see the person walking next to you.

I am thinking of pistol whipping some doctors...is that wrong of me?
(If you say 'yes', you're wrong, BTW.)

Haven't touched my meerschaums in over a month, so I decided I would take them out today for a
spin. Loaded Wilderness in the Bekler Dragon, followed by Caledonian 421 (a gift from a fellow PSFer) in the Lattice Poker. :bing:

Smoked a bowl of University Flake last night...horrid experience. It burned real hot, the smoke in my nose felt like I was snorting cayenne pepper. I don't know about this. I've had it jarred for 6 months, wondering if another 6 months will make it smokeable...I don't know. Bowl of PA in a MM Legend

Finished off my tin of Hamborger Veermaster last night. It was a new tin that I nursed along for four-and-a-half months. I found two tins at a shop that had import stickers from November 2007. I'm excited to compare the flavor difference after being aged nearly 4 years.

About to have lunch, and will polish that off with a bowl of Shortcut to Mushrooms in my fat apple Sas. Can't decide on opening the 07 HV this evening or tomorrow... guess I'll see what the mood is later today.

No clue, really. The medical professional who told me that may have been concerned about the aspirin increasing the rate of alcohol absorption or perhaps the dilation of blood vessels. Who knows. He strongly advised against it. It's never bothered me, although I swear it does make me a heck of a lot sleepier than without the aspirin. I should run some controlled experiments. ;)

SLF in the lattice billiard meer, puerh tea back.

Never tried the cannonball method before. I crumbled up a slightly moist ball of PS Luxury Twist Flake and stuffed it into my MM Diplomat. It was a pretty firm fit, but only filled the top 2/3 of the bowl, leaving an airgap at the bottom. I remembered a YouTube video saying it was ok to pake a firm top half if you left an airgap at the bottom, so went ahead and lit er up. The draw was easy and it was indeed a nice smoke.

Decided to save the '07 HV for next weekend.

Recovering from some jet lag, and some hours of snow shoveling, but I did manage two smokes:

Mac B Solent in a Savinelli 920KS. I fell in love with the pipe shape, but $180 on Smoking Pipes! There seems to be different versions too. I got the $33 on eBay version.

    then

Opening Night in a Sasieni 4 dot dublin, ON keeps getting better!
