Sail Yellow in a Comoys "Silver Shadow" which has been a problem child from the very beginning. I can't find anything wrong with it, drilling looks fine, good looking briar, only two small cosmetic fills, but I have yet to find a tobacco/technique combo that doesn't taste like hot ash in this little bastard. I'd give it away, but I wouldn't want to subject a n00b to this.

You may have already tried it, but if not, let it dry to just short of crispy. This takes away most of the bite with slow to moderate puffing, but the flavor is still there.

GLP Union Square in a Cavicchi Canadian.

Started with the big pipes, just finishing the FourDot pot of CH. Three perfect smokes in a row, three perfect cups of coffee too!
