Just opened a tin of Special Latakia Flake given by a friend some month ago...
The flakes looked like lovely strips of bacon straight from the tin. Quite wet thought. First two bowls reminded me of Escudo (but without the perique). That made me realize I needed to dry up the flakes...
Which I did, and the next two bowls were perfect! Not a latakia bomb by any means, the latakia is actually quite muted and the dominant flavors come from the virginia and orientals in the blend.
Just had a nice but slightly dry Honduran cigar. It smoked okay, but just because my humidor is so empty and I smoke so few cigars these days, I tend to neglect it and never think of adding water to the humidifier. Yikes...
It was one of the bundled Hoyo de Monterreys, I forget what they call the size...I think it was an "Executive"? It's a rather hefty lonsdale.
Rattray's Professional Mixture in a Pietenpauw Rhodesian.
CH in this lovely blonde SAS billiard, a large mug of hot tea with lemon on the side. Hoping the rain stops before I head out to do my Saturday errands.
