PS LTF in a Hackert General. Freshly rehydrated, this is the best bowl I've had of this yet. Makes me wonder why I buck the trend and prefer moist leaf. Preferences aside, that is.

Hey Yang, you are not alone I also prefer my tobaccos moist, especially flake tobaccos, because if you lose the essential oils in the leaf from drying them out you have lost the essence of the smoke.

GS may be noting what I've slowly noted...McClelland's tend to smoke better once aired...maybe not dried, but left to breathe for an arbitrary time. Just about every other pipe tobacco, for me, is best fresh from the tin. Even this LTF, rehydrated, was an improvement...including less nippyness on the tongue...something I can sometimes lessen if I dry weed first.

Ah, the learning curve...when will it ever plateau? :)

I would of thought to celebrate with a lap dance at a topless bar, while the missus was home packing boxes, but to each his own! :haha:

    Congrats, though...welcome to debt! ;)

Haha, I prefer the cob....but missus was still packing boxes. And yes, first debt other than a car payment. Fun times!

PS luxury navy flake in a bent Legend... first foray with a flake. Folded and stuffed it just right, and it burned great but pretty hot. Great flavor. Will definitely look at some other flakes.
