Had my first couple bowls of Escudo today. Should have left a couple coins out to dry before hand but even moist it was a very pleasant smoke. I'm sure this will stay on my list of "on hand" tobaccos. Need to order some more to start aging.

Cheers barosborough! I'm having a bowl of Escudo myself, in a Savinelli Dry System. Here's my trick for flakes, when patience fails me: I don't like the microwave so much, as the kitchen smells like tobacco afterward (well, its not so much ME who doesnt like it), so I grab the missus' hair dryer and hit 'em with a little hot air for a few minutes. Just make sure you keep the angle right and the hairdryer away from them a bit, or they'll blow away. Not at all recommended for ribbon cuts.

Ferndown Yellow and Brown in my Bjarne. Once again, I think I found a favorite. I wonder why I don't hear about Ferndown more often? True they don't make many blends as far as I'm aware, and this is the only one I've tried, but it is quite excellent! Seems to perfectly balance the sweetness of the Virginias with the exotic flavors of the orientals, in my opinion.

SG Black XX in my battered old Grabow Omega. This stuff is really starting to get in my head and lately has been my end-of-day smoke of choice.

Easy there, :yy: or the coroner's report
will state "death by nicotine". ;)

Orlik Golden Mixture in a Falcon
for the commute home. Don't know
how I'm going to do without a bowl
for the commute once the weather
allows me to ride the two wheeler
to work. Maybe I'll have to go early,
and have a bowl "off premises". Even
our carpark is tobacco free. :(

Fibbing a bowl inside, thanks to the crazy breezes out.

Five Bros. (Testing Snake's theory, perhaps) in a David Waugh's Designer Studio and Living Room Puppy Mill Clay. :)

Dried some fresh C&D Burley Flake #2 for about 30 minutes. Smoking it folded & stuffed in my MM CG. Mmmm nutty, smooth goodness. Nic is giving me a swimmy head too.

I just finished a bowl of Prince Albert in my MM Legend. Before that was a longer-lasting and even more enjoyable bowl of Ferndown Yellow & Brown in the same pipe. Over did it sitting in the sun - my shoulders and upper arms are, after a few years of being hidden away from any significant sunlight, a bit burned. Thats okay, it will turn to tan soon enough, and in the meantime theres plenty of aloe. Nice time smoking in the sun and reading a book!
