More-or-less equal parts of Irish Flake, Escudo, and Prince Albert. Smoldering comfortably in my commodious Comoy's Everyman.

Evening Glory from Tobacco Barn, a substitute blend for Dunhill Nightcap. Very tasty, but not Nightcap, in my mystery freehand, Stoli rocks

I broke down and got a pack of cigarettes today. At least I went cheap. But for the most part today has been about L&M Turkish Blend.

I did have about a half a bowl of Ferndown Yellow and Brown, however.

Some MacB GE for the commute home.
Was warm enough to take the bike, but
I wanted to smoke, so there. Oh, in an
    Amphora bulldog.

It's cob season so my MM Washington is burning up some of my old standby, a Black/Cherry Cavendish seasoned with PA.

I really didn't care for Rattray's Terry Red when I bought it. Sticky, goopy, hot smoking, poor tasting stuff. I gave half to my F-I-L who will smoke anything. Its been sitting for a year & a half open and is now dried to the point of being a little coarse, but still springy.

I'm smoking a bowl in my FS equipped Diplomat, and it is surprisingly good. A slight bit nutty, a touch of cherry & ginger. Still don't taste the rum, but that's OK. It's not bad.

McCl 5100 in my Peterson House Pipe. Using my house pipe in my house is a first. I like it!

Great minds think alike, Iain. Squadron Leader in the Nording. Haven't smoked a pipe in two days, though I had a nice Rocky Patel yesterday.

After some consideration of the subject, I have come to the conclusion that this particular flake smokes better (for me and in this pipe) when partially rubbed out and cannonballed, rather than folded and stuffed. This bowl may be the bulk of the problem, as it's slightly conical so folded and stuffed its snug enough in the bottom but not the top. Perhaps a narrower bowl would be good for folding this....I could try in my Ben Wade but I won't use it for Lakelands. I only want 2045 in that.
