Just lighting my third bowl of the day, it's foul stuff, and will ruin a nice pipe - apparently!, but someone has to reduce the UK CONDOR mountain! :p

Some Orlik Golden Sliced that's had a few days (nearly a week) to very slowly dry while kept in a zipper pouch in my pipe bag. It's behaving absolutely marvelously in my Ben Wade billiard, whose stem I just oiled after a recent scrub down with a toothbrush and paste. Couldn't ask for a better first bowl of the day on a day off. At first I wasn't in the mood for a VA, but this is getting better and better as it goes on!

Cumberland Sweet Twist, very roughly cut with a knife (and later with scissors) dried in the sun for about 15-20 minutes, and then thrown in a MM Great Dane egg. This stuff is smooth to smoke, but rather packs a bit of nicotine! No clue what kind of leaf makes up this stuff, but it's not bad. Not especially rich tasting, but it sure doesn't taste bad to me. It's definitely interesting!

Do I get codger points for smoking chewing tobacco? :puffy:

Thanks to another forum member for the gift!

Edit: I'm pretty sure this is mostly or all burley. It's not bad, but does get a little unusual as the smoke goes on. Strong stuff, not done smoking but already feeling the nicotine significantly. I have a feeling I'll smoke a decent bit of this stuff as the weather cools off. Burns fairly cool, and I find the flavor similar to a higher quality PA but with, as I've mentioned, a decent amount of strength.
