Parson's Pleasure, my usual break in toby, in a Parker Rhodesian (bent bulldog?). Funny stuff, It's never been a special toby, but tonight it had a particular peppery note I hadn't noticed before. Must be something to do with the way I packed it.

My son was at the B&M today, so I've decided to hit his stuff up...

McConnell's Red Virginia blah blah blah in a DWaugh clay. This stuff tastes like cloy.

Prince Albert. Picked up a pouch while I was shopping the other day. Have a new pipe, and another on the way, and I keep hearing its a good blend to build cake.

Smoking cigars taught me that you need to go to a B&M to find a good smoke; guess that isn't necessarily true with pipe tobacco. Stuff really isn't bad for an 'OTC' tobacco purchase.

True. Swisher Sweet vs. Macanudo is not the same as Prince Albert vs. Escudo :)
(Now Borkum Riff... That's another matter. To carry out the analogy BR would be like those pine tree and banana flavored blunts they give away at liquor stores.)

My 1st swig of 3 Nuns in my Dunhill Shell Briar. Yup...Life is good. Gonna grab a cold one now to go with it. Founder's Breakfast Stout sounds like a good pairing.

It's almost 2 am local time and I'm just home from my local adult beverage establishment and have lit up a bowl of Carey's Peach Brandy in my Clay Dog. It's a nice way to finish off an evening
