Amazing how much that can help, isn't it? Narrow draft may be the #1 cause of poor performance as far as I've figured.
Old Joe Krantz in my Croft Premium Canadian. First smoke for either the blend or the pipe, so judgment on quality of the blend will have to be suspended for now, but it's a pleasant enough smoke, and the pipe is performing well.
Edit: ooh, there's the nicotine, and I just gave it a tamp and I'm only about halfway to two thirds of the way through a pretty lightly packed bowl. Nice

Old Gowrie in an old Savinelli Lumberman. Just poped the tin and stuffed the Toby in. Next time, I'll rub it out and give it some dry time. For now I like Brown Clunee better.
Old Joe Krantz in the Croft's Premium Canadian. Second smoke for both - this time the tobacco was dried to crisp. Again, a cool, dry, problem-free smoke. I like this stuff, and the taste really reminds me of a spicy cigar.
Black coffee on the side. Life is good!
PS LNF in a cob with some coffee.
Davidoff English Mixture in the Ben Wade billiard before work.
