Lately I've been messing with Peterson's Irish Flake, which I can't get to stay lit to save my life. Going to try giving it a two or three hour drying time tomorrow to see if that helps.
Right now, Ashton Artisan's Blend, and Boswell's Best Burley earlier over lunch.

Haunted Bookshop in my Bjarne freehand. Getting to the gurgle spot, but I'm trying to wait to run a pipecleaner because otherwise I'll need to use two...

Twining's Lapsang Souchong on the side. I was too harsh on this tea in the past. It's still not as good as it could be, but it's not awful if you're careful not to overextract

Smoking McConnell's Rich Dark VA in my Hackert MM Freehand, grilling in the dark while listening to the nearby Altadis plants' intercom. So long as I don't hafta smell the Altadis plant, I reckon i'll be alright.

    Still don't like it.
This I believe is destined for the compost pile.

Glad to see you finding some new favorites, Nightcap. Cheers!

I was trying to track down that HH Vintage Syrian I was talking about last night, but it seems I have a few too many unmarked baggies of samples. I usually try to mark everything, but once in a while my buddy and I just swap one or two thinking we'll remember which is which. I guess it's ok, he can't find the Limerick I gave him a couple of months back, either.

Anyway, having another go at McConnell's Scottish Blend in a Sav Linea '76, shape #1. Respectable enough, but for an English with a Perique kicker, I think I'll stick with Dan's Midnight Ride in the future.

Had a bowl of St Bruno before my meeting. Got back home and had a bite to eat, watched some of the poll results come in, then went for a walk to finish off the day with a bowl of Penzance. So it's been a great pipe day for me!

SG Brown Rope in a Stanwell Dublin. Man, I guess adding a goodly portion of the wrapper was a mistake...after a minute or two, this bowl just up and tanked. Like licking baby powder off of dirty tin foil bad.

I'll finish it though...my momma raised me right. (No, she did. Really! You gotta believe me....Please?)
