First of the day is some Haunted Bookshop in my meerschaum pipe, lapsang souchong tea on the side. I've found I prefer HB in meerschaum rather than briar, but that I prefer Old Joe Krantz in a briar pipe. Overall I prefer OJK, but HB+meerschaum just seems like a match made in heaven for me. Ordinarily the perique bothers me in a briar pipe...I don't know why it should be different in a meer, but it is

Some Ashton Old London Pebblecut... the old stuff made by Robert McConnell, not the pathetic excuse made today (he said in his best old fart/curmudgeonly snotty voice) in a Santa meer signed "ALP". I have no idea who ALP is (probably a pseudonym by someone trying to circumvent his work contract) but it's the only Santa figural where he looks jolly instead of like a serial killer in a stocking cap.

Smoking Solani Sweet Mystery in the Baki. Using my turkey gut to prop the pipe up. Jeebus, is it my imagination, or is the whole world moving slower than normal? The colors, man...the colors...
