Prince Albert is one of the nuttiest burleys I have ever had.

Second the PA vote. I haven't had a ton of burleys, but of the ones I've tried, PA was definitely had the most nutty taste.

Prince Albert. Definately nutty. If you want to crank it up, there's C&D Burley Flake No 3.

Stormfront is another that is good and nutty. Also all the C&D Burley Flakes are grand.

Prince Albert would be my recommendation for a nutty tasting burley.

Butternut burley always had a nutty toffee taste to me a bit reminiscent of Crackerjack. Most of the above recommendations are good but tend to be a lot less sweet than you're used to. I'd say for a nutty aromatic you should consider Peterson Nutty Cut and for a nutty OTC Prince Albert.

Yes, you do! If you're a burley guy, their two burleys will definitely ring your chimes loud and clear!

Also, any MacB burley blend, but sprecifically Golden Extra, London Blend, and Scottish Mixture - and especially Scottish Mixture. Also MacB's Symphony, although I think it's got less of a nutty quality than the other three. I think London blend has a wonderfuly nutty, honey, and ever so light cocoa thing going on. Golden Extra has a molasis and nut thing going on. Scottish Mixture (probably my favorite) has a honey and nut thing going on. They're available in tin or bulk, they won't bust the bank, they're easy to find,. and they have an ever so light aromatic quality and are big on burley goodness. (Four factors that make my inner codger smile). :bing:

If you're gonna cellar, MacB has at least one bulk in just about every genre. It's a great tobacco to build a cellar around. MacB bulks, and tins of everything else... ah, such a wonderful dream.

I just must not be a Burley guy (har) as I seem to gravitate more to Va's and VaPer's. I'll have to invest a litte time in experimenting more with burley blends.

They're not the "superstars" that VAs and VaPers are, so they don't get mentioned in the "favorite blend" threads much. Maybe we should start a "which blends do you smoke the most" thread. I bet a lot of veteran pipe smokers would have a burley in their top three.

    Loves me some Scottish Mixture.
