I want this contraption!!! It's a Jan Pietenpauw Pipe, and that is exactly what it looks like a couple of pipe fittings.

I concur, a man would have to be a plumber to take it apart for cleaning.:whis:

I seen these on ebay advertised as ancient roman copper aquaduct pipe fittings.

If i want some plumbing ware I'll go to the hardware. Well made for sure by a great pipe craftsman but it's not for me :)

Pipemakers are forever looking to make a shape that will be unique and that they can call their own (or at least they can call firsties!). This may be it for Jan... but it's definitely not it for me.

I think Tom Eltang and his "tubos" probably gave Jan the idea, or it could have been his plumber.

I know I'm in the minority but I love it. I would love to have this pipe in my collection.
