both need a fair bit of cleaning but im looking forward to playing with the alco,

i bought the oom paul thing as its a shape ive wanted to try but never found one cheap enough to convince me to part with money if i didnt like it

they cost a tenner (ten pounds if your not familiar with that word) each

Good deal. I acquired my first oom paul via a trade. I liked the shape, but wasn't sure how it would smoke...so I didn't want to part with the coin to buy one early. I've since picked up a second one. They're good/comfortable clenchers. That one you've got there is certainly a good looking pipe. Enjoy.

just in the process of cleaning the things, you wouldnt beleive just how full of crap they were. With hindsight i should have took a few more pictures before i started.
i thought the oom paul had a fair bit of tobacco left in, turns out it was cake over a mesh thing at the bottom. The alco humidome was thick with tar and took a good 40 mins to remove with a small file, yes file not pipe cleaners alcohol etc its beggining to look nice now.
i decided to leave a bit of cake in it off to take a pic now, ill take a pic of the stuff that came out of the two as well :puke:

well it smoked very well with the petersons balkan stuff i loaded it with.
one downside and it may well be a deal breaker. its not to nice to clench there is just that bit too much weight to feel comfortable with it. I will persevere though for a while and then if needs be move it on

    the oom pauls turn later
