I have an Uncle Paul Oom Paul that I bought about a year ago and laid to the side. I just smoked it for the first time and I am impressed with how it smokes. Are there any other Oom Paul smokers out there? What are your impressions on this style? I do believe I'll be getting another soon.

I've got a La Rocca Oom Paul on the bench (ignore the photo bomb from the ol' Cambridge). Good looking briar under the dents and dust. The stem is a bit chewed, however. Will keep you posted as to how she burns when I've got her back up and smoking.

It's the only OomPaul I own, and it's a great smoker.
Very comfortable to clench, easy to smoke, and dry.

Dave, is yours actually stamped "Uncle Paul"?
This one I cleaned up awhile back is. I find that kinda funny in and of itself, smokes well and clenches like it's not even there.

I have two, one is a Savinelle Champagne, smaller bowl size. It is a good smoke. The second one is a Savinelli second very large. The volume works against this pipe. So the Champagne sees more use than the large one.

The closest I've come to making an Oom Paul. Made this one about a year ago. Call it "Stonewall" after Stonewall Jackson, handle anything you throw at it and wont back down!

Not sure if it's a true Oom Paul, but love the way it rests in my beard when I clench.
