:D I ordered this pipe stand a week or so ago off Etsy. I figured "I've only got two pipes...it'll do me for a while." This was before this weekends haul (plus four). I guess I should have gone with a bigger stand, lol.

Four of the six pipes are (were) too wide to fit in there. A Dremel fixed that (yeah...I know:eek:) . My Dad is into woodworking. I'll have to con him into hooking me up with a bigger stand at some point.

BTW, the Lee limited (middle on the right side) is my new favorite pipe. That was one of my antique store finds.

I keep trying to tell myself I have enough pipes ... yeah, I hear y'all laughing it up out there. I never said that idea actually works.

Haha. Yeah...I'm not there yet. I want more. My goal at the moment is to fill up the mantle over my fake/gas fireplace. That shouldn't take me too long. If I keep going at it the way I have, it won't set me back too much loot either.

Cool. I like the looks of those. I kinda felt bad chewing it up with the dremel. It didn't occur to me to consider pipe stem size and length when picking out a stand.

My goal (set early on) was to fill up the mantle. I give it two months and it'll be done. Up to nine pipes...two more on the way.:D

It is futile to resist. The pipe smokers brain can rationalize almost any purchase......:drly:

Very nice. PAD is a chronic, virulent disease for which there is no cure. All you can do is ride the wave and just when you're about to take out a second (or third) mortgage to buy that shiny new Ashton, it suddenly goes into remission.

and after remission....submission. Doctors across the nation have now recognized the disease, yet have no known treatment plan. Freud himself, smoked a pipe.

Impressive. That will be an awesome mantle. Then you will need to rent a storage space :)

Nah...I'm good on space. I've got an empty bedroom that I could turn into a pipe room, if I felt so inclined.:) Or I could just turn my man cave into a pipe themed room.

    1. I don't have PAD, I just like to buy pipes.
    2. I can stop any time I want.
    3. Hey, it ain't hurting anybody.
    4. It's not like I NEED a new pipe, I just want one.
    5. It's no worse than people who collect movies.

Hello, my name is Brad, and I have PAD.
I thought 1 would do, until I bought 2 more.
I thought 3 would do, until I bought some more.
Now I have 22 and a commissioned pipe on the way.
I keep telling myself I only need a Larrysson to round out my collection. :whis:

...then you guys post some stinkin' picture of a killer looking pipe that I don't have.
