I thought these looked pretty cool. Just ordered one up. Anyone here ever smoked one? I know folks are split on the p-lip thing. I happen to like it.

The P lip reduces tongue bite. The drawback is that it is more difficult to get a cleaner all the way in. I love Petersons.

I've got the rusticated one and I love it. My first (of hopefully many) P-Lip experiences. Enjoy it!

Nice pipe. Enjoy! Have Petersons with p-lip and fishtails. Perhaps the p-lips nicer for clenching but otherwise not much difference.

I like the Rustic Barrel, hope to get one soon. The p-lip is no different to me really.

Nice Pete. I prefer the fishtail, but it's certainly not a deal breaker if a pipe that I like only comes with a P-Lip. I have a thing for Petes, so I'll order a pipe with either if I like the pipe in question.
