I just saw that there are meerschaums made by Peterson in some of there normal shapes. I'm sure they're of good quality but I'm just curious if anyone has one (especially any of you meer guys).

I've got several from the SH series. I lik em! If I didn't, I'd have stopped at the first one.

Well made. I understand the Stummel or meer is carved in Turkey and the fittings or mounts are done in Dublin.

Cup O'Joes is where I got mine.

One of my SH's cracked due to puff stoopidity. I set a Butera coloring bowl atop the Watson meer and didn't feel I put it in too tight but I must have. It's got a hairline crack about a cm long but the pipe still smokes as grand as ever and I have no worries or paranoias, if it falls apart, send it for repair. Until then, I'll smoke her!

Military mounted meers are indeed the way to go!
