Looks to be either 1910 or 1898. Need some additional magnification to be sure, either way it's over a century old. :) Think this one and my pre-Republic Rhodesian will be going out for restoration at the same time.

Very cool. They've made sportsmans for a long while, I wonder if that is one?

It actually came from the mint like that, clipped planchet I believe they call it. Worth some "coin" I've been told.

Is the heel discolored, or is it a shadow?

Thanks Puff! Belge sounds good. What's the difference between that and a cutty? They're both very similar to my (untrained) eye.

umm that quarter would go very nice in my error coin collection i do not have a clipped quarter. What year is it? And that is a neat looking little pipe. Looks great for how old it is.

That ought to be a nice smoker. I have a billiard from that period and it's one of my favorites.

Tough call, as much as I'd like to be seeing a D there, it looks closer to a P on Peterson's hallmark chart. No mistaking the 1984 on the quarter though.

Looks like a canted apple to me, and a nice one at that. I can't help but be seduced by a good cant on a bowl. :ohyh:
