A great little no-name:
Two Calabash pipes:
Two Carey pipes:
Two SMS pipes:
The Lady (gift from the Bride):
More to come.......
Here are mine:
Daa-ham! Your horsie is purtier-n mine!
Sweet batch of meers, Steve.
Here is a picture of my only meerschaum. An SMS that was a Christmas present from my father. Can't see it well in this picture but the rim of the bowl is beginning to darken quite a bit and the base near the shank is yellowing slightly.
Give it time JW....give it time!
My Barling monster. Huge bowl and a great smoker.
My Nørding meer
and a no-name meer
Ok finally took some pictures of my Sevket Gezer pipe to show how much it has colored. As you can tell from the previous photos it was really white, but it is coloring nicely.
Bunch of great pipe-porn here....keep 'em coming!
Some beauties above. Very envious.
Anyone have some to add?
Here's mine. Its still brand new so no coloration here, apart from inside the bowl...
Its a Tturkish no name. Paid around 45$ for it although the seller tells me the original price was closer to a 100. She couldn't sell it because meerschaum's aren't well known in these parts, so it just stood there, waiting for me apparently. I'm pleased with it so far, mostly because of how cool the smoke from it is - even when, as a beginner, I tend to suck in too hard.
Nice pipes everyone! I have two Altinoks below
And one AKB
Simplicity is richness...
Nice seeing this thread revisited! Great pipes gentlemen!
I only have one meer - a GBD gifted by a friend. It's a pipe I'm very fond of.
Is it inevitable for a meer rim to become black through use?
No name apple.
